1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Moja Obitelj, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you should not use this platform.

2. Service Description

Moja Obitelj is a genealogical platform developed for the Mexican Croatian Association, which allows users to:

Create and manage family trees.
Register information about people and families.
Connect with other members of the Croatian-Mexican community.
Import and export genealogical data in GEDCOM format.
Store family photographs and documents.

3. User Registration

To use the platform, you must:

Be over 18 years old or have authorization from a legal guardian.
Provide truthful and updated information.
Maintain the confidentiality of your password.
Immediately notify any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

By using Moja Obitelj, you agree to:

Provide accurate and verifiable genealogical information.
Respect the privacy of other users and their families.
Not upload offensive, defamatory or illegal content.
Not use the platform for commercial purposes without authorization.
Not attempt to access accounts or data of other users.
Not use bots, scripts or automated tools without permission.

5. User Content

You are responsible for the content you post on the platform, including:

Personal information of family members (with their consent when necessary).
Photographs and documents you upload to the platform.
Messages sent to other users.

You warrant that you have the necessary rights to share the content you post and that such content does not infringe the rights of third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

The Moja Obitelj platform, including its design, code, logos and original content, is the property of the Mexican Croatian Association and its developers.

The genealogical content you contribute remains your property, granting the platform a license to display it according to your privacy settings.

7. Third Party Privacy

When registering information about other people (family members), you must:

Obtain consent from living persons before publishing their information.
Respect the wishes of family members who do not wish to appear on the platform.
Not publish sensitive information without authorization.

8. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

Inaccuracies in genealogical information provided by users.
Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our control.
Temporary service interruptions.
Actions by third parties that violate these terms.

9. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these terms and conditions.
You provide false or misleading information.
You engage in activities that harm the community or platform.

You can request the deletion of your account at any time from your profile.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

11. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Mexico City.
